It's days like these...

...that remind me why we moved here.  It is tough to be so far away from family and friends sometimes - more so in the winter when the weather is bad and plans have to be altered due to snow etc.

But when you wake up to a day like today, make yummy bacon butties to start the day - before tightening the laces on the walking boots ready to set off...what a glorious day!
Lands End (walking to the left) - in the distance is Long Ships Lighthouse

Always wanting to walk just to the "next cove!"

We even did a bit of rock climbing (read clambering).
It was rather steeper than we realised on the way back up!
Right up the TOP on these pictures are our coats, bag etc...

About half way back up!

Kenny taking pictures!

After all that, we needed a coffee and some Lebkuken
What a great day...

What have you all been up to day?

Sublime, just the most perfect day! Glad you got out and enjoyed it. I'm sure we'll bump into each other one of these days....

Happy New Year!

Now you have me. What are bacon butties?

Hee hee - Bacon Butties are Bacon Sandwiches or Bacon Rolls, but thicker bacon than you tend to get in the US! A very British treat breakfast :)

How beautiful. We got to Cornwall too because I look after my Aunt's place in Liskeard now that she is in a care home. We have got to know and love the county. Your photos are splendid and uplifting. Helen x
