Back from Boston...and Lemon Cupcakes

Well - I am back from Boston....and my luggage eventually followed! It was great - lots of shopping, eating and the consumption of Cosmo's. The weather was HOT HOT HOT and VERY humid too. Our last day was particularly hot so we headed up to Marblehead and had lunch in the harbour there.

So this week I have been catching up. Today I did a little baking:

Lemon Cupcakes from Rachel Allen's BAKE

Yummy cupcakes! I just caught Rachel's Cook show on cable yesterday. She was doing a tart tartan! Made it and Ron loved it. Really like baked apples served on a great crust! I may have to look for her show more often.

You and Vicki need to be sure to get a picture of Williams scooter when he receives it.

Thank you SO much for your lovely comment on my blog, it's lovely to meet someone else that stopped talking about it and did it! I have no doubt it will be so worth it...I really do love walking by the sea each morning, there is something so calming about it.
Just been catching up on your blog...Boston - WOW, I'd love to visit Boston, glad you had a great time.Hope all is well with your friend and you had a great time catching up.
Your apple tree is exactly what we want to do against a wall, I'll watch yours with interest, maybe I'll buy one soon and we can have a competition!!!
So sorry to hear the news about your dad and your friends, I'm sure everything will be fine although I can imagine how hard it must have been for you. Well done on raising all that money.x
Take care,
