Not a bad place to stop for lunch...

It is due to rain this weekend... so this morning we decided to go for a walk and make the most of todays GLORIOUS sunshine.

Not a bad place to stop and have your lunch huh?

We are very very lucky.

It was a few miles to this secluded cove, a new walk to us heading out left from Cape Cornwall. There are LOTS of old mine shafts on the way - you really do need to stay on the paths.

We WILL be going back for sure.

Lots of butterflies were out today - not many of these wanted to stay in one place for very long though.

Dad's bone scan results came back CLEAR

YAY!!!!!!

So - just the Prostate Cancer to battle. He has made the decision already to just have the Prostate removed, so that is the next step - just waiting for the appt to come through

What a great start to the weekend!

I have so many things crossed right now I have cramp

My dad gets his MRI and Bone scan results back tomorrow to see if the Cancer has spread anywhere else. Just typing this is making me anxious and teary

They have just spent a (hopefully) restful few days here, leaving this morning to go back to my sister's (near the hospital)

I can't seem to post about anything else at the moment, doesn't seem important (sorry)

So... fingers crossed that the Prostate Cancer is ALL he has to fight and that the fight can start SOON

P.S I found out this week that my friend's MRI and Bone Scan's where all clear, so although she is now facing INTENSIVE Chemo now for the Cancer in her Lymph nodes, it THANKFULLY has not spread anywhere else right now! Lets hope this is the week of GOOD NEWS!

Back from Boston...and Lemon Cupcakes

Well - I am back from Boston....and my luggage eventually followed! It was great - lots of shopping, eating and the consumption of Cosmo's. The weather was HOT HOT HOT and VERY humid too. Our last day was particularly hot so we headed up to Marblehead and had lunch in the harbour there.

So this week I have been catching up. Today I did a little baking:
