Am I that far behind the times? Do you all use these?
I saw this suggestion on the Barefoot Contessa
My new Ice Cream Scoop (that goop is destined to be Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffins) |
It scoopes the PERFECT amount into each muffin case with NO MESS! |
SEE! No mess and all the same size ready to go in the oven |
Fresh out of the oven - all nice, plump and round! |
And all the same size and shape - OK now I just sound a little anal? |
I have posted the recipe on my recipe's page

oh my goodness, you are clever - I've never thought of doing that and usually get in a terrible mess with 2 spoons on the go! I need an ice cream scoop now !!
Thanks for popping by my place :-)

Ron says you should send at least 4 muffins from every batch to him for official taste testing! But there is the problem of the two-weeks in transit!!!!!
You are very clever and do have such great ideas for muffins. I must say that one of my favorites is lemon-poppyseed! YUM!!! Keep on baking your heart out!!!!!
I don't have your email address, so will use the blog. Thanks so much for getting your Mom to knitting those scarves! I just receive mine in the mail today. What a beautiful accessory. It will look lovely with my new gray outfit. I'm going to try it also with jeans and a jacket. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I'll be able to wear it often!
Yay - glad you got it - that seems quick? I have made two more since the one I posted! They are so quick, they really suit my knitting style (instant gratification) lol
Enjoy

I also believe in projects which offer some satisfaction in a short time. I've been working on a corded basket when I get a few minutes. They are great fun and use up loads of scraps and ugly fabric.
Oh my, those muffins look absolutely fantastic. My mouth is watering, I'm making a shopping list to get the ingredients today!
I think are my favourite - they stay nice and moist. Hope you enjoy them
